Etsy Tuesdays Are Back!
That's right folks, Etsy Tuesdays are back! And of course, I was inspired by the changing of seasons and the hope of cooler weather. Hope you love these items as much as I do.
Chevron-Patterned Throw
Pleated Knee-Length Skirt for date night
The Perfect Earrings x 2, for flirting of course
Tupperware - what a throwback to my childhood. I loved this stuff and these are perfect for holding a cup of soup and snuggling on your balcony.
Vintage Peach Dress for a Fall wedding or romantic stroll through the park.
Flower Hair Pins
Autumn Harvest Pyrex Bowls - I actually have a set of these that were given to me by my boyfriend's Aunt and I absolutely love them. They are so versatile - microwave & oven safe!
Cozy Aztec Sweater
Orange Ceramic Owl
Oxfords! These are so popular right now and look so feminine compared to others.
Tweed Fedora, because I absolutely love hats.
Modern Wood Painting/Sculpture
Groovy Handmade Purse for dinner parties
Double-Stranded Rustic Necklace with Fabric Flowers
Fall Flowers with Place Cards (honestly, I think these place cards are way overpriced, but the picture was too cute to not post. Either way, great idea for a Fall Wedding or outdoor party.)
Salads!
I absolutely love salads, but I definitely don't eat them enough. However, because of all the bread we've been eating in pastry school, I've decided dinner will only be a salad for at least the next 4 weeks. I have to implement this rule. It is vital. If the elastic on my uniform stretches any more, I may be forced to buy a segway to wheel myself around the kitchen. Plus, the part of my body I like to call my muffin top would turn into a three tier cake. And that would definitely be no bueno.
Tonight's salad was absolutely delicious - cucumbers, carrots (high in beta carotene!), one boiled egg, sunflower seeds and croutons on a field of greens (see Exhibit A). All coaxed down my throat with some delicious ranch dressing (light, of course).
What are your favorite salads to eat?

Happy Weekend!
It's Friday, which means relaxation mode is in full effect. Luckily for me, I get to hang out with this really gorgeous guy {my wonderful boyfriend} all weekend in the city that keeps it weird. I can't wait! We have big plans for the weekend including heading over to the local Farmer's Market to pick up some goodies, then off to go shopping for a dining room table. After we've found a great whole in the wall to eat lunch in, we'll do some more shopping and then head over to our apartment to make a scrumptious dinner for two. Then, it's Woody Allen time. We are planning on going to the Violet Crown Cinema to see "Midnight in Paris". Have you seen it yet? It's received raved reviews and I am definitely looking forward to it.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Summertime
{print by C.S. Neal}
It is summer time and who wouldn't love an ice cream cone right now?!
Things are a bit crazy for me right now. I have quit my job, relocated to Austin, and start pastry school on July 5th! So, for the obvious reasons, it's been a bit chaotic with packing, training my replacement, packing, moving, unpacking, touring my new school, unpacking, buying a desk, unpacking, missing my amazing boyfriend, and unpacking. Hopefully I will be completely settled by the end of this weekend and will have all next week to enjoy my new digs and the awesomeness that is Austin.
How is your summer going so far?
Mid-century Modern Deal!
If you LOVE mid-century modern design as much as me, then you're about to go BANANAS for this deal on the Foundary. Right now the Eames lounge chair is going for $850! There are tons of great designs, super cheap. Head over there now and check it out before it's all gone. In fact, I think I'll go buy more now...
