Fairytale Posters Re-imagined
These posters are absolutely amazing and I love their minimalist design. Hansel & Gretel is one of my favorites because it totally reminds me of Pac Man with those dots but much more morbid. And the Little Red Riding Hood poster would make a great backdrop for a Halloween invitation - it's sort of haunting because of the color scheme and the wolf's paw peaking out from behind a tree. What do you think?

Design Fun: Outfit to Room
I won't pretend to be a great designer in fashion or interiors, but I do know that in both, styles are constantly changing and evolving. It takes a great eye to mix colors and patterns, but when you get it right, it feels so good. Inspiration for both can be drawn from anywhere - old fashion magazines, fabric stores, or trips around the globe. Below are three outfits that can easily inspire a room, or vice versa. Hopefully you'll get just as excited as me to start decorating your room or mixing up your wardrobe.

Two Thumbs Up for Hotel Americano
Yowser! The word "sexy" is not usually used when it comes to a hotel, but Hotel Americano is just that. It is a sexy beast. Located in Chelsea's Art District, this hotel is a reason to fly to NYC and just stay put. Forget the Statue of Liberty and Central Park and hang out at the Hotel's uber chic bar, take a swim in their modern pool, or take in the City's lights from the balcony.
Designed by Mexico City's famed architect Enrique Norton and Paris-based interior designer Arnaud Montigny, the modern rooms feature natural materials, soaking tubs, marble-clad bathrooms, platform beds, fireplaces and iPads with in-room controls and for ordering room service that arrives in bento boxes.
Mirroring the Hotel's incredible designs, the dining room, patio & grill features "French fare with a Latin flair" led by Executive Chef Olivier Reginensi. And then there is the Jetsons-inspired bar which serves up signature cocktails and Mezcal from behind a Brazilian-style bar.
Of course, if you feel like you just have to leave the room, the front desk can arrange to have bicycles delivered from Bowery Lane Bicycles for a ride around the city that inspires so many. And just in case your mind is clouded by the sexiness of the hotel, check out this City Guide by Joanna Goddard to find the best places to shop, eat, relax, or not look like a tourist.

Birthday Wishes
For Mark Mulligan's 28th birthday, my incredibly creative future sister-in-law decided to ask all their friends and family to send in pictures wishing him (her husband) a wonderful birthday. Since they are photographers, it was almost a sure bet that their equally creative friends would send in fun pictures wishing him the best. Below are a few of my favorites.
Is this not the greatest idea for someone's birthday? She printed out all 50+/- pictures she received and pinned them up all around their apartment for him to see. Super fun idea to make someone feel really special.
Ps. If you're wondering who some of these super talented people are, check out the links at right. They are amazing photographers and people.
